Roy Friday, President, presented at the 13th. Fiscal Management Conference Training & Advocacy Support Center (TASC) in Portland, Oregon in July 2005. The title of the presentation was, "Updates on DHHS/CMHS and ADD Fiscal Reviews: Reports, Red Flags, Striving for Consistency Across the Agencies" which focused on Fiscal Evaluation for the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness program (PAIMI).
Friday Systems was awarded a two year contract for the logistical support for peer review activities under the Striving Readers discretionary grant program from the Department of Education in September 2005. The goals of the Striving Readers program are to enhance the overall level of reading achievement in middle and high schools through improvements to the quality of literacy instruction across the curriculum; improve the literacy skill of struggling adolescent readers; and help build a strong, scientific research base around specific strategies that improve adolescent literacy skills.
